Children's Charity the Moore Foundation have today received a cash boost from Manchester City Football Club and The Premier League's Creating Chances initiative.
The Foundation, who recently donated to Ethan's Journey appeal to assist young Etahn Connoly's family to pay for pioneering surgery are delighted to receive £2,000. Patron Dominic Walker said "there are a lot of happy faces today at the Foundation even the United fans are happy! This money will help us fund so many projects over the coming months. Additionaly to have the Premier League and Manchester City recognising our efforts is also a big boost."
During the year the Foundation do lots of fundraising which includes golf days and their Miles Moore Smiles walk which will take place early in 2008. The Moore Foundation ethos is to put smiles on the faces of young people, they do this by donating to individuals and donating to smaller charities too.
The Moore Foundation is a charitable trust established to provide financial and practical relief to local childrens’ charities and worthy causes.
Proceeds are received via annual Summer Ball, The Moore Foundation Golf Day, Variety Evenings and general fundraising activities throughout each year.
