Bobby Davro Having a Ball

With showbiz rumours rife that former king of Saturday night TV and Walford taxi driver Bobby Davro will be taking part in this year’s dancing on Ice. Warrington charity The Moore Foundation are delighted to announce he will be the guest star at their Summer Ball in September.

Bobby’s showbiz career began in 1981 with his first big break in 1983 when he performed ‘Live from Her Majesty’s’ since then he has been involved in numerous successful TV shows for both ITV and The BBC. More recently Bobby appeared as part of Team Dec on ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway ‘for ITV1.

Also performing at the Moore Foundation Summer Ball at The De Vere Daresbury Park Hotel on 26th September will be 60’s comedy vocal band The Ivy League. The Moore Foundation is a locally based charity that offers financial assistance to individuals and smaller charities.

Moore Foundation Chairman Nigel Garner said “we were stunned when Bobby accepted our request to appear. We know he’s very busy at the moment rehearsing his ice skating moves! It will be incredible to see him live.”

The evening will be compared by Male Vocalist and Comedian Billy Myers with Key 103’s Dominic Walker hosting the charity auction. Tickets are available by contacting Nigel on 01928 597742 or 01928 701168.
