Runcorn based Children’s Charity The Moore Foundation has today announced a donation of two thousand five hundred pounds to Ethan Connelly's appeal. Ethan has appeared on BBC Breakfast News, Granada Reports, This Morning and in local press in recent times because he suffers from a very rare condition known as Lymphangioma which is a disorder that creates cysts in soft tissue.
Ethan needs to raise in the region of fifty thousand pounds for the treatment which will be carried out by an American specialist in Berlin.
Patron of the Moore Foundation and Wire FM Breakfast show host Dominic Walker said “we were made aware of Ethan’s condition through the press and felt we had to do something to help. The ethos of the Moore Foundation is simple; we aim to put smiles on the faces of young people. I’m delighted to say we’re donating £2,500 to Ethan and hope this donation encourages other individuals and businesses to help too.”
The Foundation are also hoping to donate more funds following their Miles Moore Smiles fundraiser which is a two weeks walk to every part of Cheshire including Widnes, Runcorn, Frodsham, Warrington and surrounding areas.
The Moore Foundation is a charitable trust established to provide financial and practical relief to local childrens’ charities and worthy causes.
Proceeds are received via annual Summer Ball, The Moore Foundation Golf Day, Variety Evenings and general fundraising activities throughout each year.
